I have 17 years of experience in translation and interpreting, an MA in Translation Studies, and I have been teaching in the field since 2005. I am a certified translator (ATA, Portuguese into English) and a certified healthcare interpreter (CCHI, CoreCHI). I am a screened interpreter for the Trial Court of Massachusetts.
I am fully bilingual and bicultural, having been raised in Brazil by an American parent. I have been living in Massachusetts for the past 14 years.
I am willing to provide pro bono services for Brazilian and other Portuguese-speaking individuals who are unable to pay my fees, for mental health services that are not covered by Title VI.
