I have been a professor at the Smith College School for Social Work for 36 years where I co directed the doctoral program, chaired the theory sequence and directed the end of life certificate program. I have been in practice for over 40 years. I have written books about psychodynamic theory and practice with multicultural and at risk populations, and this is an expertise. I am deeply committed to vulnerable populations and to offering help to immigrant populations. Currently I am in full time practice, teach at the Truth School, at the Institute for Clinical Social Work and at the Training Institute in NYC
